Looking for a castle to visit, Hever Castle…

Hever Castle is a lovely day out for the whole family with wonderful gardens, mazes, adventure playground, waterfall and a lake walk and a wonderful castle to visit. The Castle is full of Tudor history and has many rooms for you to explore, Hever castle was once home to Anne Boleyn.

There are wonderful themed gardens such as the Tudor, Italian and the Walled Rose garden. The Castle also has two mazes to walk around, the Yew Maze which is your traditional hedge maze, and the Water Maze which has stepping stones on water to follow around. These are both brilliant and fun, be prepared to get a little wet. The adventure playground is for children up to the age of 14 and has many things for them to explore and have fun. There is also an area for the under 5s.

The lake walk is where children and yourself can look for wildlife and spot the many different species of birds. You can also hire rowing boats from the boat house.
